  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10 - 20 years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on strategic HR management, culture transformation and strategy development
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, as well as leading culture transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations within the Nigerian financial services industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a financial services environment is preferred.
  • HR certification such as CIPM, PHRi, SHRM.

Description

  • Our client is seeking a talented and experienced professional for the position of Head, People.
  • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the people strategy and initiatives, and also execute HR programs, policies, and practices that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Duties

  • Lead the development and implementation of the people strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and execute HR programs and initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback.
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and managers on employee relations and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR initiatives are integrated with overall business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in people management.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
