Industrial experience in food/beverage manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Skilled in developing and implementing accurate records and reports including incident reports, safety data sheet.
Proficient in conducting Safety audits and inspection to identify potential hazards.
Able to provide emergency response support, including first aid administration and incident containment and control.

To assist the Safety Health Environment (SHE) Manager in the implementation of global best practices in safety, health and environment programmes/activities.

The Job

Inspect the facility to report, close out/ escalate any possibility for the occurrence of accidents, fire outbreaks and hazards to ensure prompt response and preventive resolution.
Check the facility to ascertain that all environmental and safety equipment are in ready to use condition and keep stock and reporting each’s status as routinely required.
Supervise the disposal of solid/general waste within the facility to ensure compliance with established standards.
Monitor the operations within the factory to ensure appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and communicate corrections where variations exist.
Supervise pest control activities.
Advice and counsel employees on the implication of maintaining a safe working environment and complying with safe work ethics.
