  • Diploma in Business Administration or any other business-related course from a relevant Institution.
  • Proven 3 years minimum experience as a Claims Officer in a busy Hospital
  • Previous experience in leadership will be an added advantage.


Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Business Administration or any other business-related course from a relevant Institution.
  • Proven 3 years minimum experience as a Claims Officer in a busy Hospital
  • Previous experience in leadership will be an added advantage.


  • Coordination of other team members to ensure there is efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between the team and the Head of Department.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor claims team to ensure productivity and quality targets are met.
  • Assist in conducting regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to review performance, discuss challenges, and provide feedback while working hand in hand with the Head of Department.
  • Oversee the processing of insurance claims with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Provide regular updates to Head of Department on team's performance, challenges, and progress.
  • Assist with the Implementation of quality control measures to reduce errors, denials in claim submissions and backlogs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for escalated claims inquiries or disputes, providing timely and effective resolutions by liaising with the Head of Department.
  • Assist in orientation and training of new staff and interns when required to.
  • Assist the credit team during collections by providing required documents necessary.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by your immediate supervisor.
