Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chief General Manager of Maintenance to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within the Dangote Cement Plc.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of maintenance practices, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of effectively managing maintenance operations.

Duties

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of equipment.
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance professionals, including technicians, engineers, and support staff.
  • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and availability of machinery.
  • Coordinate with other departments to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize production interruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
  • Oversee the maintenance budget and control costs while maximizing productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in maintenance technology and recommend innovative solutions to enhance maintenance processes.
