The Sales Operations Manager will lead the M-KOPA Uganda sales team, develop sales strategies, and execute plans to optimize sales processes. This role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, managing sales data, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the sales organization.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
  • At least 3+ years of sales or commercial management
  • Proven Leadership experience in sales
  • A master’s degree is an added advantage.

  • Lead M-KOPA’s Strategic Sales Planning and Operations.
  • Support in directing sales strategy and direction in Uganda
  • Develop and refine efficient sales processes
  • Define and improve sales operational plans
  • Identify market trends to enhance marketing efforts
  • Manage budgeting aligned with P&L targets
  • Drive sales performance across all channels
  • Expand retail partnerships and increase channel sales
  • Track and analyze sales data with business intelligence teams

Sales Team Management

  • Manage field employees, administrators, and trainers, including training and performance.
  • Oversee field and operations employee performance.
  • Define OKRs, develop operational reports, and support target achievement.
  • Implement incentive and commission programs.
  • Drive team engagement.
