Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications/ electrical engineering/electronic engineering, computer science/ software engineering/ computer engineering, or related field.

Working Experience 

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a research function in a similar corporate setting.

Working Experience 

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a research function in a similar corporate setting. 


1.       Conduct market research and analyse data to provide insights, trends, and statistics on new services and technological advancements in the communications sector. 

2.       Document and report on evidence gathered, stakeholder or user feedback and research findings to support the development and usage of new communication technologies and services within the Communications sector. 

3.       Provide technical and administrative support to the development and implementation of service development and innovation initiatives, including technology testbeds and sandboxes. 

4.       Coordinate service development initiatives in collaboration with internal departments, external stakeholders, and regulatory counterparts.

5.       Assess applications or proposals on the deployment of new services and products in the communications sector. 

6.       Develop data collection tools and gather input and feedback from internal departments and external stakeholders on service development initiatives.

7.       Develop and maintain up-to-date records and databases and manage information generated from the execution of the various service development and innovation initiatives.

8.       Draft reports on the stakeholder engagements and other research initiatives within the unit. 

9.       Maintain flexibility to accommodate any other duties assigned by the line supervisor from time to time.
