Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Financial Management:

• Assist in preparing and managing the label’s budgets and financial forecasts.

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense tracking.

• Help with financial reporting and analysis, providing insights to the Business Manager and executives.

• Coordinate with external accountants for tax preparation and financial audits.

Contract and Royalty Management:

• Assist in the preparation, review, and management of artist contracts and agreements.

• Track and process royalty payments to artists, producers, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain organized records of all contracts and agreements.

Administrative Support:

• Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for the business team.

• Manage correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail, ensuring timely responses and proper follow-up.

• Maintain and organize business documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.

Operational Duties:

• Support the Business Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth business processes.

• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., marketing, A&R, distribution) to ensure alignment and effective communication.

• Help with the planning and execution of label events, promotional activities, and artist tours.

Project Management:

• Assist in managing special projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

• Track project progress, identify potential issues, and report on status to the Business Manager.
