Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Counselling with at least one supervised clinical internship in a mental health setting.

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in psychological counselling, psychotherapy and or psychoeducation essential.

• Additional certification, training and or experience in a broad range of related fields, such as alcohol/substance abuse, stress management, psychosomatic disease, behavioral problems, psychosocial programming would be an asset.

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in psychological counselling, psychotherapy and or psychoeducation essential.

• Additional certification, training and or experience in a broad range of related fields, such as alcohol/substance abuse, stress management, psychosomatic disease, behavioral problems, psychosocial programming would be an asset.


• Develop and implement a wellbeing and stress management plan for our clients.

• Perform an ongoing assessment and monitor the determinants of wellbeing and stress for our clients.

• Provide on demand group counselling sessions for client’s board of directors; addressing their needs.

• Provide monthly group counselling sessions to our client Divisions and/or Units; addressing the needs of the different teams.

• Implement preventive, mitigating and stress management group activities with our client’s staff.

• Organize and deliver awareness activities on stress, and stress related issues for our clients.

• Promote, plan, and implement wellbeing group activities for Clients’ staff

• Identify, address, and refer after the 3rd appointmtment all patients identified as needing further

• assistance to an external specialist and follow up on critical incident stress cases with our clients.

• Stablish an accredited external network of Psychiatrists and Psychologists who will know  Swift Minds’ Client Culture and will manage mental health illnesses.

• Liaise with locally accredited Psychiatric or Psychologist experts and Health provider institutions in Uganda and East Africa for referral and follow up of each case
