The E-Bus Operator is responsible for Safely and Effectively Operating Electric Buses and Charging Infrastructure in accordance with the Company Processes, Guidelines and Regulations as well as the Traffic and Road Safety Act 1998 (As Amended) and all applicable Regulations.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Driving License (Minimum Class/Group: Class – DE).
  • Certificate in Defensive Driving.

Minimum Experience:

  • Three (3) years’ experience in Driving Medium and Heavy Duties Buses with demonstrated knowledge of Manual, Automatic and Electric Transmission covering all aspects of electric bus operations, including handling, charging, maintenance, customer care, as well as compliance with traffic and road safety regulations.

  • Driving the Assigned Electric Buses in accordance with the company processes, guidelines and regulations as well as the Traffic and Road Safety Act 1998 (As Amended) and all applicable Regulations
  • Operating Mobility Energy and Technology Systems for Electric Buses
  • Logging and Reporting Deployment data from Electric Buses to the supervising officer.
  • Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning of the Electric Buses and Reporting all Technical and Mechanical defects of the Electric Buses to the supervising officer.
  • Operate within the terms of Company policies and procedures by always ensuring that all work-related activities are operated in accordance with equal opportunities, dignity at work principles, data protection legislation and the appropriate code of ethics and professional conduct.
  • Be adaptable to change and have an ability to acquire new and relevant skills and knowledge by taking appropriate responsibility for own personal and professional development.
  • Take appropriate care to ensure that company equipment, facilities, utilities and infrastructure are not spoilt, damaged or misused.
  • Develop and implement Monthly Work Plans and Performance Reports necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities; and
  • Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
