We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations and Compliance Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and compliance, ensuring our operations align with regulatory requirements and internal policies supporting our clients and underwriters as well as to ensure business retention and growth under the overall supervision of the Principal Officer.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Bachelor degree in Insurance, Risk Management or equivalent.
Nice to have - Diploma or certification in risk management, compliance, Underwriting or insurance studies
Basic knowledge in accounting (proficient in reporting)
Knowledge, Experience and Competences
Minimum of 4 years of experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in a corporate or financial settings
Previous experience working as an underwriter.
Experience in supervision.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in compliance and risk management software and tools.
