Position Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacologist to join our team at Lily Hospitals in Benin.
  • The Pharmacologist will be responsible for conducting research, developing new drugs or improving existing medications, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals within our healthcare facility.

Key Duties
Research and Development:

  • Conduct research to discover and develop new pharmaceutical compounds.
  • Test drugs for efficacy, safety, and potential side effects.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and researchers to advance pharmacological knowledge and treatments.

Drug Formulation and Optimization:

  • Develop formulations for new drugs and optimize existing drug formulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate drug stability and shelf-life.

Clinical Pharmacology:

  • Conduct clinical trials to assess drug effectiveness and safety.
  • Analyze and interpret data from clinical trials to inform drug development and usage.

Drug Regulation and Compliance:

  • Stay updated with current pharmacological trends, regulations, and best practices.

Patient Care and Education:
