Requirements

  • Establish, implement and maintain site quality program
  • Coordinates with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, regulatory representatives and field to ensure that work is done correctly .
  • Assures work on-site meets applicable codes and specifications .
  • Develops and administers site specific Quality Programs .
  • Surveillance/Audits of site Contractor Quality Control Programs
  • Establishes inspection plans and track inspections/actions identified .
  • Review and control documentation for the certification of construction equipment and testing equipment
  • Collating Quality Control documentation for final handover
  • Develops and implements quality programs that assist projects and division to meet company and division quality goals and expectations
  • Implements Safety, Quality, Ethical Standards, Lessons Learned, and adheres to
  • Performance Management programs in accordance with Division Policies, Standards, and Guidelines
  • Supervises work of others
  • You will be responsible for all testing of an entire project
  • You will own the development and execution of test plans and test cases for multiple projects completed,
  • You will develop and maintain testing strategies, including manual and automation testing.
  • You will ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.
  • You will participate in design and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans.
  • Supporting the sales team with technical pre-sales activities.
  • Supporting the commercial team with response to technical questions on RFPs
  • Work with the Engineering and Customer Operations teams to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific solar PV project.
  • Draft the scope of work and estimate the respective project budget.
  • Create and distribute RFPs to potential subcontractors, establish evaluation metrics, and select winning proposals.
  • Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with subcontractors and vendors, and oversee all subcontractors’ work in all phases.
  • Develop and maintain project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project’s success.
  • Communicate with utilities and authorities having jurisdiction regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues.
  • Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact.
  • Provide leadership to project staff including implementation of project engineer training and development
  • Do everything else assigned by the Line Manager.
