Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering is an added advantage
  • A Professional Qualification in Engineering is desired
  • At least 10+ years of post-qualification experience in the Engineering field

Technical competencies:

  • A strong analytical thinking with good numerical skills
  • Essential Computer (MS Office Applications)
  • Good knowledge of technical standards/regulations and statutory requirements guiding electricity distribution systems.
  • Prioritize Assignments and ability to work independently
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • The job role provides Technical Support to the MD/CEO in a one-on-one working relationship, acts as a level three expert on a wide range of relevant technical issues, and provides an all-round strategic thrust on all matters about the Office of the MD/ CEO.

Job Duties

  • Ensures preparation of concise briefs on all technical operational matters requiring the MD/CEO's attention.
  • Manages a variety of special projects or critical deliverables for the MD/CEO
  • Recommends appropriate course of action, referral, or response on technical, unstructured, or novel issues that could be of strategic importance to the MD/CEO.
  • Represents the MD/CEO at technical meetings and other assigned functions.
  • Manages top-level communication that is technical between the MD/CEO's office and relevant stakeholders. 
  • Prepares agendas for technical meetings, briefing materials, and presentations as needed to support the MD/CEO.
  • Manages top-level Board and Clients calendar of appointments/meetings, composes and prepares technical correspondences for the MD/CEO.  
  • Researches opportunities (events, projects, training, businesses, etc), and engages networks relevant to the work of the MD/CEO or business interest of the organization.
  • Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports as needed by the MD/CEO.
  • Performs other sundry assignments as directed by the MD/CEO.
