We are seeking a creative, dynamic and driven team player to take on the role of the communications manager for both our festivals. Our Communications Manager will play a vital role in creating and maintaining a positive public image for the festivals, events & concerts we produce.

He / She will be responsible for managing all forms of communication, internal and external, promotion of the festival, building and sustaining engagement with the audience, and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and enthusiastic about the event.

We are seeking a creative, dynamic and driven team player to take on the role of the communications manager for both our festivals. Our Communications Manager will play a vital role in creating and maintaining a positive public image for the festivals, events & concerts we produce.

He / She will be responsible for managing all forms of communication, internal and external, promotion of the festival, building and sustaining engagement with the audience, and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and enthusiastic about the event.



  • Media Relations: Setting media KPIs, recruiting, and managing a publicist per event. Overseeing the development of press releases, pitching stories to media outlets, press runs for artists, and acting as the primary contact for journalists and other media professionals. This includes preparing media kits, organizing press conferences, and coordinating interviews with performers, festival organizers, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Social Media Management: Take the lead in creating and executing a communication strategy across various platforms (Social media: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. Newsletter, SMS) to engage with the company's audience, share important updates, push the brand agenda and promote the events. This involves the management of content creation teams and social media managers, analyzing engagement data, and designing engaging ways to interact with followers.

  • Content Creation: Lead in writing and producing a range of content, including website updates, newsletter articles, promotional materials, and blog posts, to inform and attract festival-goers. (content team management)

  • Brand Management: Ensuring all communications and promotional materials align with the festival's brand identity and message. This includes overseeing the design of brochures, posters, merchandise, and digital assets.

  • Crisis Communication: Preparing for and managing any communication crises that may arise, including but not limited to last-minute changes to the lineup, weather-related issues, or other emergencies. This involves developing clear and concise messages and an escalation matrix to keep the public informed and calm.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, vendors, performers, and the local community, to ensure they are informed and involved in company activities.

  • Audience Research: Gathering and analyzing feedback from previous events to improve future communication. This can include conducting surveys, monitoring social media mentions, and keeping an eye on media coverage.

  • Internal Communication: Facilitating communication within the organization, ensuring that all team members are informed about schedules, policies, and any updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar or closely adjacent role in a similar environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, creativity, ability to work under pressure, strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Adept at juggling multiple tasks simultaneously, from strategic planning to tactical execution, to ensure the festival's message is heard loud and clear.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
