  • Be a Kenyan citizen.
  • Be a holder of a diploma in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism,Media Studies/Science or a related field.
  • Have working experience of not less than 5 years preferably in Communication and/or Public Relations.
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
  • Should have good attention to detail and good relationship management skills.
  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the constitution

Duties and responsibilities;

  • Providing nursing care and maintenance of correct and accurate patients charts;
  •  Participating in ward rounds and performing last office;
  •  Assessing patients and clients and establishing health care needs;
  •  Planning and implementing nursing care interventions based on patients’/clients’ health needs;
  •  Providing appropriate health care services, including immunization, ante-natal care, delivery;
  •  Referring patients and clients accordingly;
  •  Facilitating patients admission and initiating discharge plans;
  •  Conducting teaching sessions for patients and participating in ward rounds;
  •  Making appropriate discharge plans for patients;
  •  Maintaining records on patients/clients personal and health conditions/care;
  •  Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment;
  •  Ensuring safe custody for in-patients belongings;
  •  Collecting and compiling data.
