Competencies

  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • Must possess Government Trade Test Certificate Grade III in Plant Mechanic or undertaken exam with NITA for RPL
  • Must have three (3) years’ relevant experience in relevant field as Plant Mechanic.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution.
  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya


Responsibilities

Competencies

  • Be a Kenyan citizen

  • Repairing and maintaining county plant and trucks.
  • Undertaking improvement works including panel-beating
  • Routine inspection/checks on County equipment and trucks for repair and maintenance
  • Preparing cost estimates for minor repairs of County equipment and trucks
  • Monitoring daily vehicle mechanical status.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned
