We are seeking a highly motivated, hands on & experienced Water & Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join our sustainable water treatment and pumping solutions company in the capacity of Project Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, co-ordinating installations and maintaining water, sewage and effluent treatment plants, including filtration, ion exchange and reverse osmosis plants.


As the Water Treatment Engineer, you will manage and work closely with our team of technicians and operations staff to ensure our water treatment equipment for all our clients operate at peak efficiency and reliability. You will also be responsible for coordinating installations and projects, visiting sites & attending site meetings, troubleshooting, writing reports and overseeing operations.


Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated, hands on & experienced Water & Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join our sustainable water treatment and pumping solutions company in the capacity of Project Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, co-ordinating installations and maintaining water, sewage and effluent treatment plants, including filtration, ion exchange and reverse osmosis plants.


As the Water Treatment Engineer, you will manage and work closely with our team of technicians and operations staff to ensure our water treatment equipment for all our clients operate at peak efficiency and reliability. You will also be responsible for coordinating installations and projects, visiting sites & attending site meetings, troubleshooting, writing reports and overseeing operations.


• Coordinate the technical team and field operations, including project planning,

materials planning and project execution and implementation on sites
• Oversee and co-ordinate installations with a team of technicians including overall
project scheduling, co-ordination, implementation and commissioning to ensure
compliance with design specifications and industry standards
• Work closely with draftsman to make technical drawings
• Represent the company at client and site meetings, maintain project documentation
and make timely project reports for clients, and management
• Design and develop domestic and industrial, sewage and effluent treatment plants
• Design and size pump and booster pump systems, including variable speed drive
pump sets
• Design and develop water treatment solutions not limited to filtration, water
softening, iron removal, drinking water and reverse osmosis plants
• Co-ordinate with electrical panel and control engineers to design, develop and
troubleshoot electrical panels for water treatment equipment, reverse osmosis
plants, sewage treatment plants and booster pump panels and other related
equipment
• Develop and maintain project BOQ’s and costings
• Collaborate wih operations staff to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or electrical
issues pertaining to all installed systems
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal
performance and longevity, and provide technical support and guidance to
technicians
• Update management and prepare progress reports for all ongoing projects and
open maintenance jobs
• Co-ordinate workshop servicing, trouble shooting, maintenance, repairs of water
pumps, electrical motors, reverse osmosis plants and other water related
mechanical and electrical equipment including electrical panels for the above plants
• Provide & arrange for trainings and workshops to team members to enhance teams
skills and knowledge
• Carry out other engineering, project co-ordination & management tasks within the

group as and when required by the management
