JOB SUMMARY
The Construction Technician will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of power connectivity infrastructure. He /She will ensure that construction projects are completed efficiently, and safely
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction management or its equivalent;
- At least 4 years’ experience as a construction technician or similar role in the electrical or power industry;
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and safety regulations;
- Strong technical skills and understanding of construction methods and materials;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities;
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of power lines, transformers, substations, and other electrical equipment according to project specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered during construction activities.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions in real-time to minimize downtime and ensure project continuity.
